Great fun was had by all who attended the Discovery Museum in Newcastle yesterday. As part of the Kinship Carer Summer Activity programme, Relative Experience organised a visit to this interactive museum together with volunteers from the Newcastle Kinship Care support group.

Next activities are Friday 21st August – Indoor Games at St Luke’s, Wallsend and Wed 26th August Fun in the Park at Saltwell Park, Gateshead

Are there any activities coming up in the Durham/Newcastle area and if so how do I find out about them? Thanks

Hi Anne Marie. All our events and activities are listed on Relative Experience Facebook page
and you may also want to follow our twitter account

The Durham event went really well on 23rd September, sorry you couldn’t make it. We are busy preparing a report of the day which saw pledges of support from two Durham MPs who attended – Roberta Blackman-Woods and Kevan Jones. We have lift off in Durham and Darlington!
